To keep your jewelry clean, we recommend wiping it down with a polishing cloth or gentle fabric. Avoid using harsh cleaning agents, as your Rebel Nell jewelry is delicate! Due to personal pH levels on our skin, jewelry may be at risk for tarnishing if exposed to more acidic skin. When metallic accessories mix with the different pH levels of skin, oxidation can cause the jewelry to darken. We suggest not exposing our jewelry to sweat. We also recommend removing our jewelry before excessive exposure to sun or water. Avoid wearing jewelry for a day to the beach, excessive dish washing, long showers, etc. If your piece is tarnishing we are happy to give it a fresh polish, but please note that Rebel Nell will not be held responsible for any damages that may occur by foregoing the above recommendations.
No.No.No. We only collect the paint after it has fallen. However - when organizations like The Detroit Riverfront, Eastern Market, and The Alley Project need to clean a wall for a new mural, they scrape the paint and bring it to us.

We like to call the graffiti an abundant local resource. We collect our paint from the Dequindre Cut, The Alley Project in Southwest Detroit, Flint, from the City Walls project through the City of Detroit, and Eastern Market. We also source graffiti from Soho House and West Town in our favorite new city, Chicago!
No. Our graffiti is sourced from newer sources composed of acrylic based paints. However, we do test everything for lead but haven’t had anything test positive.

All orders are shipped via USPS. We offer Standard, Expedited, Overnight, and International shipping options with tracking included. It is important to note that it will take 1-2 business days for us to process your order. If you order overnight shipping after 5pm on Friday, you will not get your package until Tuesday- we are humans too, and take our weekend rest seriously!
Hoorah, we do! When you find a piece you love simply add it to your cart and proceed to checkout. There will be an option to switch your address to an international address. The shipping and handling fee will also display while in the checkout process. Depending on where you're located, shipping could take up to three weeks. Please note that we are not responsible for any customs fees that may be incurred.
Dog ate your earring? (Yes, this has happened.) Don’t worry, you have options. If you lose your piece of Rebel Nell jewelry, we can make an item that looks as close to your original order as possible. However, we are not responsible for the cost of your lost item, and replacement pieces will cost the original price of your piece. If you need to replace a single earring, it will be half the price of the original pair. If your piece is damaged or broken, we are happy to fix the piece. To initiate a repair, send us an email detailing the issue and we will provide further instructions from there.
Not digging the piece you received? We're happy to help! If you are unhappy with a product and would like to return it, please do so within 30 days from the date of purchase. After we receive your item, credit will be issued to the original method used for payment. There is a $5 restocking fee, so we will refund the total value of your purchase minus $5. At this time we do not offer free shipping on returns. We also offer exchanges for different colors of metal or graffiti on the same product. If you decide you want a different color, we will issue a store credit for the original purchase price, as long as the item is in the condition we sent it. We are not 100% satisfied until you are! To start a return or exchange, email us at email@example.com with your name and order number, and whether you’d like to start a return or exchange. We will then reply with more instructions for returning the product to us.
