SUMMARY

Brand Ambassadors will be responsible for representing Rebel Nell at sales events, performing the setup and tear down, creating social media content for us, engaging customers and telling them about our brand and our products, and most importantly selling. This position works directly with our CEO.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Include but are not limited to:

  • Sales and Events
    • Daily oversight of scheduled art fairs, festivals, and pop-ups, including but not limited to providing an engaging customer experience, upselling and operating Shopify’s POS system, merchandising, and restocking
    • Meet sales goals
    • Event preparation, execution, and take-down
    • Assist the CEO with lead generation of events and selling opportunities
    • Ensure accurate inventory is maintained
  • Content Creation
    • Work in tandem with the marketing team to create content that drives awareness and sales via Rebel Nell’s digital channels
  • Work collaboratively with other departments
  • Prompt and effective communication via phone and email

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1-2 years experience building sales based relationships in their respective market
  • 1 year of retail experience in the jewelry/fashion industry

Rebel Nell is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and ambitious Vice President of Sales to join our growing company. The VP of Sales will be a visionary who is responsible for developing and implementing an effective omnichannel sales strategy targeting key markets, on a national scale. The ideal candidate will have experience hiring and developing a team of equally ambitious individuals and holding them accountable for meeting and exceeding sales goals. Additionally, their key duties will include overseeing daily sales activities, optimizing the sales process and tactics, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and managing the sales department budget, contributing to the overall profitability and expansion of the mission of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an omnichannel (e-commerce, retail, wholesale, etc) sales strategy that drives revenue for the company and contributes to overall profitability
  • Collaboration with the CEO and COO to set quarterly and annual sales goals by channel, ensuring that each channel contributes adequate volume to meet the overall sales goal
  • Work with the CEO, COO, and CMO to drive strategic direction and resource allocation, with a focus on increased sales and market expansion
  • Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing sales team, consisting of equally ambitious individuals
  • Develop and implement a robust training program that is in line with the overall goals and mission of the company, with an acute emphasis on effective sales techniques
  • Daily management of the sales team, including but not limited to: implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) across all sales channels, motivating the sales team to achieve their sales goals; continuous coaching to improve sales performance; holding team members accountable to meeting their sales goals; collaboration in identifying sales opportunities and securing/closing business
  • Analyze and improve the sales process, including but not limited to: creating sales scripts, email templates, and reusable sales decks; perfecting the stages of the sales process; understanding which features appeal to which prospects and utilizing that knowledge to close business
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals to ensure increased revenue streams
  • Daily monitoring and frequent reporting on sales goals and progress to all relevant parties
  • Effective utilization of all tools to ensure that sales strategies and tactics are measured and data guides the decision making process
  • Establish and maintain key customer relationships, frequently working to secure/close deals
  • Focus on new boots on the ground business development by performing market & customer prospecting while developing strategic, targeted sales campaigns that build strong customer relationships in Detroit and new markets
  • Lead prompt communication and flow with internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on securing opportunities and maintaining brand integrity
  • Review customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, improving customer satisfaction, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Prompt and effective communication with marketing and support teams to ensure all opportunities are taken to work towards the common goal of improving sales and profitability
  • Regular collaboration with the marketing team to ensure that all sales opportunities are effectively communicated to our customers via social media, email, e-commerce, experiential, and/or out of home marketing channels
  • Communicate consumer needs and product opportunities with the COO and the Sourcing and Inventory Manager to ensure that the support teams have an opportunity to adequately meet customer demand and, in turn, support the sales team in meeting their sales goals
  • Outlining and managing sales budgets, ensuring that the sales team budget is consistently utilized to improve sales opportunities and decrease potential waste

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing or related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in a sales leadership position
  • Minimum of 5 years experience building a high-functioning e-commerce retail presence for a fashion brand
  • Minimum of 5 years managing wholesale accounts and building relationships with independent retailers
  • 5-7 years experience utilizing sales technology, analysis, and reporting to drive B2B and B2C business
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a senior leadership role preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Driven to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Ability to effectively manage a budget to improve profitability

Position: Inventory Associate

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Pay: $15/hour

Hours: 15 hours/week, hours to be determined but will be during business hours (M-F 9-5)

Job Description:

The primary role of the Inventory Associate is to maintain accurate inventory through the utilization of efficient and effective inventory management practices. This highly organized individual will assist in processing inventory orders, logging the receival of raw materials, contributing to the upload of finished goods into the inventory management system, stock balances, and physically moving inventory between departments and sales channels.

Breakdown of Responsibilities:

70% - Inventory Management

30% - Order Fulfillment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management
    • Work closely with the Sourcing and Inventory Manager to ensure inventory management systems are operating efficiently and accurately
    • Manage data entry of raw materials and finished goods into Rebel Nell’s inventory management system
    • Inspect incoming shipments of raw materials for quality and accurate physical count
    • Quality control finished goods before they get inventoried and prepared for sales opportunities
    • Assist with restocking of new products for all sales channels by capturing and editing elevated product photography, implementing accurate SKU tagging, and utilizing data entry to ensure that the web team can effectively upload product into the inventory management system
    • Help prepare and analyze sales reports to ensure accurate and timely stock balances are executed to support sales opportunities while maintaining efficient usage of inventory
    • Work collaboratively with the Production Team to ensure all orders pass quality control and are fulfilled by the customer promise date

  • Order Fulfillment
    • Daily fulfillment of online orders and in-store pick-up orders through the Shopify platform
    • On an as-needed basis, assist customers with order pickups and purchases in our Holden Street showroom

  • Maintain clear communication with Customer Service to ensure that all customer returns, repairs, and fulfillment issues are resolved promptly with particular attention to providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Maintain a clean and clutter-free workspace to order to minimize loss and improve the speed and efficiency of all inventory management processes (i.e. product uploads, stock balances, and orders fulfillment)
  • Prompt and effective communication via Slack, email, monday.com, etc. during normal business hours

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or another related field
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
