Important Update from Rebel Nell: You Deserve to Hear This First

Hi Friends,

As the CEO of Rebel Nell — and as someone who wakes up every day thinking about how to protect this mission — I want to speak to you directly.

We are at a crossroads of quality and mission, and we’ve made a decision to preserve our future. This isn’t a flashy announcement, but it is an honest one: we’re raising our prices.

Not a big hike — but enough that you deserve to know why.

Some of it is due to new tariffs — but that’s only part of it. More than anything, we’re doing this to keep making our jewelry the right way. No cutting corners. No sacrificing what makes Rebel Nell special.

Here’s what’s real:

The cost of silver and gold has risen sharply. So have the expenses tied to manufacturing in the U.S., especially when you’re committed to doing it with integrity. On top of that, new tariffs on metals we source through our mission-aligned global partners have added more pressure to an already tight margin.

As a small business, we feel these changes more than most. We don’t have the cushion of mass production or overseas operations. Every decision hits close to home — and every dollar has to support our values.

Here’s what stays true:

We use sterling silver and 18k gold-plated sterling silver. Because your jewelry should last longer than the trend it came with. And because quality matters when the piece you’re holding carries meaning.

We could switch to brass. It’s cheaper, and most of our competitors use it. Most people wouldn’t notice.

But we would. And that’s what matters.

Each piece is designed by women transitioning out of shelter life, right here in the U.S., in Detroit. These aren’t just accessories. They are powerful symbols of resilience, of second chances, of lives being rewritten.

Our jewelry carries meaning — not just because of what it’s made of, but because of what it represents. Every piece is one-of-a-kind, just like the person who wears it. It holds layers of history, memory, and strength. Just like Detroit — the city we proudly call home — we’re built on perseverance. We rise, again and again.

We want you to know: this price increase isn’t about cutting corners or chasing trends. It’s about protecting our quality, our mission, and our people.

We also understand that not everyone can absorb this shift — and we’re deeply grateful to those who continue to support us in whatever way they can.

Here’s how you can help:

We know who we are.
We know what we stand for.
And we know our worth.

We’ve never tried to be like anyone else.
And we never will.

We are ONE OF NO OTHER KIND.

Rebel Nell is more than a jewelry brand — it’s a community, a mission, and a movement.
Thank you for standing with us and choosing jewelry, gifts, and experiences that mean something.

With gratitude and purpose,
Amy Peterson
