My husband just recently purchased a pair of earrings for me from the Michigan Central Train Station collection. It's a bit of history that I can keep forever as a reminder of a building that I have loved since I was a child. I remember going there with my parents to pick up my uncle who was coming to Detroit from Denver. I was totally in awe of it then and can't wait to see it's transformation in the coming years. Way to go Ford Motor Company!

I was excited when I first read about the concept of Joe Louis paint being made into jewelry and preserved. I was disappointed to find one of the two dog tags arrived disconnected from the chain itself. The connecting ring was pulled apart and required me to use some pliers to reform the ring and re-connect the dog tag to the chain. This caused me some concern as the shipping was from Detroit to Macomb County and the product arrived disconnected, how long will it take to disconnect while being worn? I am giving both as gifts and will now have to advise the recipients of the suspect nature of the connecting ring so they don't end up loosing the main piece of the jewelry. I hope they still wear it!
