A LOVE NOTE TO MOMS
Our company was founded with a mission to provide employment opportunities for women with barriers to employment. More often than not, those barriers are linked to the realities of being a mom in today’s society. We firmly believe in the power of motherhood and the indelible strength of mothers. We believe that life can be made to be just a little bit easier when women champion women.
Like life, motherhood is an experience that is both incredibly rewarding and, at times, challenging beyond belief. Also like life, the experience of being a mother is one that is completely unique. Whether you sacrificed a body that you once knew to create the life of another, love someone who gave you the gift of a bonus child, have a child who plays among the bright colors of the rainbow, or love a child so much that they feel as though they’re your own - we celebrate you! We wrote you a little love note to show you how much you mean to us!
Dear Mom,
One day a year isn’t nearly enough celebration for the gifts that you have given to the world. You are filled with love for your child and, even when you feel as though you have nothing else to give, you somehow find more deep down inside. Long gone are the days when you could live life without a care in the world - in their place are days filled with equal parts tears and laughter. As a team of moms, we know you wouldn’t trade your current reality for anything that preceded it. We also know that sometimes you need someone to remind you that you’re worthy. Mom, we see you! We love a strong woman in a good pair of sweatpants and a messy bun - that woman can still rock a killer pair of boots and big hoops! We too enjoy a good cry - feel all your feels and see it as an opportunity to remind you that you can overcome anything. This Mother’s Day we want to remind you that you are strong, you are capable, you are a badass!
